Policy 3.13: Low Enrollment
Academic Affairs is required to review all course offerings to determine the need of the course as it relates to specific programs, other available assignments, effective utilization of faculty expertise, and cost effectiveness. This process will occur in a timely manner in order not to jeopardize viable course offerings and yet facilitate notification or reassignment. The Academic Administrators will begin to assess enrollment as soon as data becomes available and may cancel courses between four weeks to one week prior to the start of the semester. The purpose of this policy is to provide an effective, responsive and fiscally responsible approach to course scheduling.
