Anoka Tech offers new and updated programs starting fall 2023

Anoka Technical College is pleased to offer students new and updated programs to train for in-demand careers.  

New Administrative Office Specialist certificate

Anoka Tech’s Administrative Office Specialist certificate is a 16-credit program that prepares the graduate with a foundation of skills that can be used in a variety of office positions. Administrative office support specialists perform a wide range of office responsibilities. They collaborate with other support personnel and administrators to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all office tasks.

The program is offered completely online with part-time options available.

New Automotive Electronic Diagnostic Specialist diploma

Anoka Tech’s Automotive Electronic Diagnostic Specialist program aims to provide successful automotive technician program graduates with additional knowledge and skills needed to diagnose and repair the complex vehicle systems of today and tomorrow.

New Paramedic diploma program

Health care professions are in high demand and the paramedic profession is no exception. As the field continues to evolve, there is a growing need for skilled and knowledgeable paramedics.

Anoka Tech’s new diploma option allows students to take courses during the day and complete the program in as little as 15 months.

Our goal is to prepare you for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exams and set you up for success as a competent entry-level employee in your paramedic career.

Medical Assistants can make a difference in people’s lives each day and play an essential role on a health care team. From 2020-2030, the demand for Medical Assistants is expected to grow by more than 16% in Minnesota, making it one of the fastest-growing health care careers. After completing the Medical Assistant program at Anoka Tech, graduates are eligible to take the Certification Exam of the American Association of Medical Assistants and immediately join an in-demand career. When Diana Sanchez moved to the US from Ecuador, she was looking for a college that would support her dream of becoming an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
