If you're a worker who has been laid off (or notified that a layoff is coming) through no fault of your own, CareerForce offers services at no cost that focus on preparing you to find a suitable new job, and may include financial assistance for re-training for those that qualify.
Job Services for Students & Alumni
The Career Services/Job Placement Office in Rm 190F (inside the Student Success Center) is staffed by an Employment Counselor.
An Employment Counselor is available to assist students with developing resumes and cover letters, preparing for interviews and other job search activities.
To request this assistance, call 763-576-7780 or email. Appointments are preferred, but efforts will be made to accommodate walk-ins.
Job leads, internship opportunities, and work-study openings can be found at College Central.
- Students can download resumes to this site for viewing by employers and can also access many helpful articles, videos and tips on effective job seeking. Students and alumni create an account to use the resources available on this site.
- To search for work-study (student worker) jobs, type in "SW-ATC" for company name.
- Watch online calendars for information about employer events/visits on the Anoka Tech campus.
Graduate Survey
All Anoka Technical College graduates will be asked to complete a short Graduate Follow-up Survey within one year of graduation. Data is collected about employment and furthering education.

14th Annual Veterans Virtual Career Fair

CareerForce Veterans Employment Services and the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs invites all veterans, active military members, and their spouses to a Virtual Career Fair on November 19.
Work for an employer that recognizes and appreciates your experience and the value you bring to their team! Employers participating in the Veterans Virtual Career Fair are encouraged to offer veterans full-time jobs with benefits and family-sustaining wages.
You must register to attend the upcoming Veterans Virtual Career Fair. The event will be hosted on the CVENT Virtual Attendee Hub and will allow you to meet with employers privately face to face and to upload your resume to share directly with them. Over 300 employers are expected to participate.
