College hosts Open House Oct. 26, 5 to 7 pm

Anoka Technical College will host a Fall Open House, Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 5 to 7 pm. The public is encouraged to visit and learn more about the college’s 35 in-demand career and training programs.

High school students, returning college students and adults searching for a career path can take the first step by attending this event. The Open House is an opportunity to have questions answered, visit the college and learn about more than 35 degree, diploma and certificate programs.

“The Open House is great opportunity for interested students to learn more about our campus programs and see what Anoka Technical College has to offer,” said Genna Anderson, Interim Director of Enrollment Services at Anoka Tech. “Campus tours, admissions information sessions and department faculty will be available during the event!”

High-demand programs areas offered at Anoka Technical College include: Accounting, Management and Administration; Golf Course Grounds Management and Landscape Technology; Health Care Technology: Office and Patient Care; and Human Services: Community Social Services, Judicial Reporting and Legal Administration; Information Technology Management: Convergence Technology, Database Design & Development, Mobile Development, Game Programming, Network Analyst, Software Development and Web Design and Development; Transportation, Distribution and Logistics, Automotive Technician; Architecture and Construction; Manufacturing; Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics; Architecture and Construction, Electronic Engineering Technology, Machine Trades, Mechanical Drafting and Design and Welding

Anoka Tech offers many flexible options for earning a degree, including online and evening courses. Prospective students will have the opportunity to tour the campus, visit with program faculty and learn about applying, deadlines and how to pay for college. Live music and refreshments provided.
