Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Anoka Technical College Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program prepares students to work in emergency patient care. Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are found in many careers across the nation. The EMS system encompasses a wide filed of people who respond to emergencies in many different arenas. EMTs are multi-skilled emergency care providers, dedicated to patient care in emergency situations.
At Anoka Tech courses are delivered in a lecture/lab configuration. Students must take an active role in lecture and a self-directed approach in lab. Our EMS program requires student clinical/patient care experience as part of our certificate curriculum. Students enhance their knowledge and skills working/learning with our industry partners.
