You are cordially invited to be a part of a strengths-based movement that is gaining momentum at Anoka Technical College. Please help support our efforts by attending our first annual Hope Scholarship Dinner, scheduled to take place on April 12, 2011 at the Northland Inn in Brooklyn Park. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Shane Lopez, a Gallup Organization Senior Scientist and author who leads research on strengths development and advises colleges and universities on student engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
The entire evening of April 12 is dedicated to learning how higher education institutions and businesses deeply rooted in a strengths-based culture, can provide measurable differences, not only in student success and retention, but also in employee productivity and morale. Colleges and employers have an awesome responsibility to the future. As educators and employers, we are committed to providing our students and employees with a roadmap for their future success. A strengths-based culture helps to motivate and guide its members on the path to academic, professional and personal achievement.
Because we want to make this rare opportunity feasible for those who are interested, we have developed several sponsorship opportunities that make participation economical and advantageous. Please see the attached document for more information. Tickets are just $100, of which $68 will be tax deductible.
