The Practical Nursing Diploma program is a full-time, four semester program. Graduates of this program will receive a Practical Nursing Diploma, and will be eligible to take the examination for licensure as a Practical Nurse (NCLEX-PN).
Each fall and spring semester, the Practical Nursing department accepts a limited number of students to the Practical Nursing Diploma program. Students who have applied to the college and who meet all of the prerequisites, will be accepted into the Practical Nursing program. Admissions is on a first-come, space available basis.
For spring semester 2011, admissions will start accepting completed applications the week of September 13, 2010 and will continue taking applications until the program is full. Students accepted in the program will begin the program at the next semester start date.

The Practical Nursing Diploma consists of 53 credits. Students must complete coursework on a full-time basis according to the sequence outlined in the Program Requirements.
