The Practical Nursing Associate of Applied Science (PN AAS) Degree program is a full-time, four semester program. Graduates of this program will receive a Practical Nursing Associate of Applied Science degree, and will be eligible to take the examination for licensure as a Practical Nurse (NCLEX-PN).

Each fall and spring semester, the PN department accepts a fixed number of students to the PN AAS Degree program. Students who have applied to the college and meet all prerequisites will be accepted into the Practical Nursing program on a first-come, space-available basis, and will begin the program at the next semester start date.

The Practical Nursing AAS degree consists of 63 credits; 24 general education credits and 39 technical credits. Students must complete coursework on a full-time basis according to the sequence outlined in the Program Requirements.
