The Practical Nursing Associate of Applied Science (PN AAS) Degree program is a full-time, four semester program. Graduates of this program will receive a Practical Nursing Associate of Applied Science degree, and will be eligible to take the examination for licensure as a Practical Nurse (NCLEX-PN).

Each fall and spring semester, the PN department accepts a fixed number of students to the PN AAS Degree program. Students who have applied to the college and meet all of the prerequisites, will be accepted into the Practical Nursing program on a first-come, space-available basis, and will begin the program at the next semester start date.

The Practical Nursing AAS degree consists of 63 credits; 23 general education credits and 40 technical credits. Students must complete coursework on a full-time basis according to the sequence outlined in the Program Requirements.
