We encourage students to get as many general education courses done ahead of time. General education courses are courses that do not have the "COTA" prefix. You may want to consider doing this by earning a Health Core Certificate.

Courses with a "COTA" prefix are only offered once a year as listed on the Course Sequencing Plan. These courses can only be taken after the student is enrolled in the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.

We start new students every fall semester.

Please note the course prerequisites listed on bottom of the Course Sequencing Plan.
