Program Description
This program includes coursework in basic landscape practices, turf maintenance, and turf equipment. Complementary coursework is offered in communications and customer service. A six credit on-the-job training opportunity is included in the program curriculum.
Industry Description
This program prepares individuals for employment in the landscape management industry as turf management assistants or grounds management assistants. These employees service the landscape and turf environment for golf courses, parks, commercial and residential sites, athletic complexes and municipalities.
