Award Letter
Step 3: Award Letter

Your award letter lists the amount of grants, loans, and work-study for which you qualify.

The grants apply to your account automatically based on the number of credits for which you are registered and attending.

If you have been awarded work study and would like a job on campus, please visit our Work Study Job Board. Apply directly with the supervisor for the position you are interested. You will also need to complete a Student Worker Information Packet (available at the Financial Aid Office).

Your financial aid award letter also indicates your eligibility for federal student loans. Loans are not automatic. If you wish to borrow the loans, or a portion of the loans, you must apply for your loans. Below are the steps for applying for your federal student loan.

Applying for your federal student loan

Child Care Expenses

If you will have child care expenses as a result of going to school, you may be eligible for post-secondary child care assistance. This grant requires you and your child care provider to complete an additional application. More information is available in the Financial Aid Office and on this Web site.

If your family income changes significantly after you have filed your previous year's taxes, you may want to request that your financial aid be reviewed. The Special Circumstances request form is available on our forms page or in the Financial Aid Office.
