Eligibility

The goal of Anoka Technical College is to provide reasonable accommodations to students with a documented disability.  Accommodations are designed to allow students to participate fully in the program of their choice.  We are available to help students with disabilities meet their educational needs.

A three week notice is required to arrange some accommodations.  Though we try to honor late requests we cannot guarantee results; immediate assistance may be limited due to resource availability.  At the start of each semester it is the student's responsibility to provide the Office on Disabilities with their course schedule, thereby allowing time (three weeks preferred) to arrange requested accommodations.  Make an appointment to meet with Director of Student Support Services Tim Skaja by calling (763) 576-4700

Anoka Technical College provides assistance to students in many areas.  Students will be asked to provide documentation, test reports, and school records for review.  This confidential information will be revealed ONLY by written consent from the student.  This information will help the Office on Disabilities provide reasonable academic accommodations and support services.
