Brush Up on Basic Skills
If you are no longer in high school, you may review basic skills by entering the NO FEE Metro North Adult Basic Education program. A minimum of twelve hours of review will be required. The ABE teacher will help you identify areas you need to study and provide you assistance in gaining necessary knowledge and skills.

Accuplacer Review
At Anoka Technical College, all students declaring a major are REQUIRED to take the ACCUPLACER Computerized Placement Test (CPT) (also referred to as 'college entrance exam' or 'new student assessment).
OPTIONAL REVIEW BEFORE FIRST TEST
ABE teachers are experienced in helping prospective students prepare/review for their initial Accuplacer test. In addition to reviewing sample questions on their own, students currently attending high school are encouraged to seek help from high school counselors and teachers.
