Job Placement Assistance for Students and Graduates
Anoka Technical College offers a job placement service to all students. We cannot guarantee job placement, but a variety of assistance is available through instructors and the Minnesota WorkForce Center office, suite 190, located near the center of the building. The WorkForce representative refers students to part-time job opportunities, provides job placement assistance upon graduation and a graduate follow-up survey. Veterans
During your orientation, you will be given information you need to obtain VA benefits. All of our major programs of study are approved for veteran benefits. If you have had prior schooling in either military or civilian schools, it must be evaluated for possible transfer credit in the program you have selected.
Please note that the Veterans Administration requires attendance reports. Contact the Records and Registration Office for more information.
Members of military reserve organizations may also be eligible for financial assistance under Chapter 106 for the Selected Reserve Education Assistance Program.
Military Leave
If you are a military reservesist and you must miss classes to fulfill your military obligations, you must inform your instructors and your academic advisor. Permission to miss classes, however, does not exempt you from completing all requirements of your courses.
