To be eligible for a work study job, you must receive an award letter from Anoka Technical College that lists either "Federal Work Study" or "MN Work Study."
All positions pay $8.50 per hour. You cannot work more than 20 hours per week or you will face suspension from the work study program. You can also not earn more than the work study allotment approved by the Financial Aid Office.
You are responsible for finding your own job. Please browse the positions listed below. For any job(s) you are interested in, please contact the supervisor(s) directly to schedule an interview. Being awarded work study does not guarantee employment.
Once you are offered a position, stop by the Financial Aid Office and fill out a Student Worker Information Packet. Your supervisor must also sign this packet. You must return your completed Student Worker Information Packet along with all appropriate identification documentation to the Financial Aid Office before we can finalize your employment.
IMPORTANT: You cannot work until the Payroll Office delivers a timecard to your supervisor. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Work schedules will be determined in cooperation with your supervisor.
