New Student Orientations

Do you want to take classes at Anoka Technical College?

Before you can register for classes for the first time, you must be accepted to Anoka Technical College.

Once you are accepted, you can register for classes during a new student orientation. Orientation days and times are specific to program areas. Please note the day and time of your orientation.

Please plan to spend approximately 4 hours on campus for orientation.

Orientation check in is directly inside the main doors on the east end of campus.

At orientation you will*

  • Learn about student services, resources and policies
  • Learn how to register for classes
  • Meet your academic advisor
  • Become familiar with your program
  • Be able to ask questions
