Opportunities where you can invest your contribution

Achieving the cutting edge in advanced technology

Anoka Technical College is committed to providing the best education using the latest technology - from advanced precisioneered equipment to the latest software application.

As computers, software and manufacturing technology change, we need to keep up.  Students need to be technologically literate and lean on the equipment they'll use on the job, thus benefiting themselves, their employers and their community.

New career programming

The college must develop new career programs that mesh with the ever-changing needs of the labor market.  Ongoing programs must be up to date.  We must design programs that build on previous work experience and meet the needs of students faced with family and work commitments.  Through ongoing research, the college must continuously evaluate and develop innovative approaches to career education.  Current areas of greatest need and opportunity are health care, precision manufacturing, information technology and construction.

Academic Student Scholarships

These scholarships reward academic excellence and encourage students to enter emerging fields.  You can designate a specific program or where need is greatest.

Crisis Grants

These grants support students who experience a financial emergency - cars that break down, job layoffs, illness.
