Satisfactory Academic Progress Standards

Thank you for taking interest in learning how to be more successful at Anoka Technical College.  Our goal is to provide you the finest career and technical education and the appropriate resources to help you, and the community, to live and learn well.  One way of doing that is to help you maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards. 

Please use these resources to help you maintain SAP standards or assist you in getting back on track to ensure satisfactory academic progress.

Appeals are due by 2:00 p.m. on the listed date to the Office of Records and Registration. A student should expect appeal results to be provided by email within five business days of the listed committee meeting date. These dates are subject to change.

Printing Your Academic Record/Transcript - Guide to printing academic transcripts from Anoka Tech or other Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU).

Finding your GPA – Student friendly guide to determining your GPA on your academic record 

Calculating Your Completion Rate – Numerical guide to identify and understand how to calculate your  completion rate using your academic transcript. 

Appeal and Contract Form – Required documents that should be completed by the student then submitted to the Office of Records and Registration along with a typed statement, transcripts and any supporting documentation. 

2nd Review of Appeal Form – Required document that should be completed when appealing the SAP Committee’s decision.  This form should be returned to the Dean of Student Affairs along with a typed statement and supporting documentation.
