Scholarships now available for Architectural Technology and Construction Estimating programs

Attention graduating high school seniors!

Anoka Technical College is now offering eligible graduates $500 scholarships for students who register for a minimum of 12 credits in the Architectural Technology or Construction Estimating programs in the fall 2015 semester.

Eight scholarships are available, and will be awarded to eligible applicants on a first come - first served basis. Applications are available through the Anoka Technical College Admissions office.

“The Architectural Technology program has a strong 90% placement rate for related employment,” said lead Architectural Technology instructor Jay Boyle, a registered architect who has taught at Anoka Tech for 24 years. “The construction economy has made a strong rebound from the recession so this is again a great career choice for graduating high school seniors.”

For student seeking a four-year degree, the Architectural Technology program offers articulation agreements to a bachelor’sdegree. The articulation agreements include a bachelor of science (BA) degree in Construction Management through Moorhead State University with courses held at North Hennepin Community College, and a bachelor of Architecture degree through Dunwoody College of Technology in downtown Minneapolis.
