Anoka Technical College welcomes ITT and Art Institute students

Anoka Technical College is welcoming all ITT Technical Institute and Art Institute International (Ai) students. Both ITT and Ai recently announced they are closing immediately.

Anoka Tech is fully accredited and offers more than 35 degree and certificate programs that average 90-100% employment rates. Several Anoka Tech programs directly overlap with programs that were offered at ITT and may allow for the transfer of credits. ITT students are encouraged to check out Anoka Tech Associate in Applied Science degrees in: Network Systems Administration, Software Development, Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design and Accounting.

“We are very excited to offer students struggling with the closure of these colleges a reliable and fully accredited place to pursue their technical education interests and successfully move on to a rewarding career,” said Sean Johns, Dean of Student Affairs at Anoka Technical College.

Graduates of Anoka Tech programs are highly employable due to the hands-on learning that results in employable skills.

Advanced Welding, Construction Electrician, Fabricator, Golf Course Grounds Management, and Pipe Welder programs all boost 100% employment rates.

Anoka Tech’s also offers expert faculty, low cost tuition and several unique programs including: Medical Scribe Specialist, Logistics, Broadcast Captioning, Judicial Reporting, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Golf Course Grounds Management, Health Information Technology, Multimedia and Gaming, and Information Technology.

Anoka Tech’s largest programs include Health Information Technology, Information Technology Management, CNC Manufacturing Technology, Medical Coding, Automotive Technician, and Practical Nursing.

Students who are attending Globe University or Minnesota School of Business are also encouraged to consider Anoka Technical College since both of those institutions are also in discussions for closure.
