Employee Assistance Program

State of Minnesota employees who are experiencing personal, family or professional problems that are affecting their job performance, may receive confidential professional help through the Employee Assistance Program. The program is designed to help employees address problems before they become crisis situations.

The State of Minnesota contracts with LifeMatters to provide helpful guidance, counseling, local resources and reliable professional care.  Call 1-800-657-3719 or online at www.neas.com password STMN1.

Because supervisors are in a unique position to monitor employee performance, they may recognize the signs of personal, family or professional problems that affect employee performance. Supervisors are obligated to inform employees about the free, confidential Employee Assistance Program services.

For more information see the Supervisors Guide to EAP Referral.
