At Anoka Technical College we believe our employees are one of our biggest assets. We challenge our employees to explore their professional goals by encouraging them to set annual development goals with their supervisor as part of the evaluation process.

As a State of Minnesota employer we are required to provide a series of training sessions for all employees. Mandatory training requirements for all Anoka Technical College employees can be found here.

Our employees are eligible to participate in a Minnesota State College and Universities system Training and Registration Site (STARS). Employees may research and register for conferences, workshops and seminars by using STARS.

Please see the MnSCU Human Resources pages for more information about available professional development opportunities.

Our Professional Development Philosophy

We are committed to developing the talents of Anoka Technical College employees. We value our employees and understand that continuous learning benefits the entire College by developing and maintaining employee skills that contribute directly to achieving core college initiatives and individual goals and objectives. Supporting successful leaders at all levels also builds institutional capability to better serve our students and our communities. This commitment is realized as a shared responsibility between each employee and the College
