Curriculum Development and Approval

In college curriculum we have categories of curriculum deployment, those being; academic programs, changes to academic programs, course development and changes to courses.

The academic program faculty, through careful planning and with insight from industry, develop curriculum to meet industry standards. In addition, faculty endeavor to align the program curricula to the master academic plan and the college mission.

Faculty will discuss academic program and course changes with their advisory committee and college administration. Faculty utilize input from advisory committees, environmental scans and other pertinent data relevant to their programs. Any curricular changes along with program proposals will be submitted to the Academic Affairs and Standards Council (AASC).
