Accreditation

Anoka Technical College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, 1-800-621-7440; www.hlcommission.org. Anoka Tech was granted initial accreditation in 1999, and its most recent accreditation was granted in 2014.

The college is due for reaccreditation in 2024.

 

Program Accreditation

The following programs are accredited by outside accrediting organizations as listed below. Other programs within the colleges are certified, licensed or approved by outside agencies. Those programs are Construction Electrician (State of Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry), Emergency Medical Services (State of Minnesota Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board), and Judicial Reporting (National Court Reporters Association).

Practical Nursing The Anoka Technical College Practical Nursing (PN) program is approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing and is specifically designed to train graduates for the specialized field of Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN).
