Monthly Activites

 Multicultural Student Center

Exploring Religions
Deepen and broaden your understanding of a variety of religions by attending scheduled discussions about various religious sects. A different denomination will be highlighted each month. Take a look at the calendar and join your friends and faculty for one or several enlightening discussions.

Conversations on Race
Join Art Stoeberl as he facilitates conversations on race using the YWCAs proven dialogue format: Talk leads to understanding, understanding leads to action and action builds community. Mr Stoeberl is a retired educator with classroom experience in MN, WI, Morocco and Germany, as well as library and program supervision in the higher education arena. Although retired, he is certainly busy volunteering at the YWCA, at the Minnesota Science Museum, and at the Quatrefoil Library as well as teaching English skills to migrant workers.
