Step 3 |
Your award letter lists the amounts of grants, work study and loans for which you qualify.
The grants apply to your account automatically based on the number of credits for which you are registered and attending.
If you have been awarded work study and would like a job, please visit our Work Study Job Board. Apply directly with the supervisor for the position you are interested in filling. You will also need to complete a Student Worker Information Packet (available at the Financial Aid Office).
Your award letter shows the amount of loans you are eligible to borrow. Having a loan listed on your award letter does not mean it will automatically apply to your account. You have to tell us how much you want to borrow and for which terms. You do this by completing a Master Promissory Note (MPN).
If you will have child care expenses as a result of going to school, you may be eligible for post-secondary child care assistance. This grant requires an additional application to be completed by you and your child care provider. More information is available at the Financial Aid Office and on this Web site.
If your family income changes significantly after you have filed your previous year's taxes, you may want to request that your financial aid be reviewed. The request form is available each January and must be submitted along with the current federal tax return. If your grant eligibility increases, the new award amount will apply to both Fall and Spring semesters.
