Why am I getting an Anoka Technical College Tech iT card?
You are receiving the Anoka Tech iT debit card because the debit card is just one way you can manage the money the college owes you. There are other ways to receive and manage your money: you can have the money deposited to any account at any banking institution or you can have a check mailed to your address on file. Once you get your card in the mail, go to www.anokatechitcard.com and choose how you want to receive your refunds.
Is the Anoka Tech iT card a credit card?
No, the Anoka Tech iT card is not a credit card it is a debit card. Debit cards are linked to your bank account so the money you spend is automatically deducted from your account. Unlike credit cards, when you use your debit card your balance goes down with each debit card transaction, so youre less likely to overspend.
How will I get the card?
The Anoka Technical College Tech iT card will be mailed to your house address on file at the college. The card will arrive in a bright green envelope. Do not throw the card away. Even if you wish to continue getting your money as a paper check in the mail, you must still register your card and choose the paper check option. You may register your card at AnokaTechiTcard.com.
How can I get my money?
There are three ways to receive your money from Anoka Tech.
1) Same day deposit to a Higher OneŽ checking account. Your account choices include

Money the same day, easy ways to deposit and no PIN Fees! This option has a monthly service fee.
OneAccount Premier
Money the same day, easy ways to deposit money and three monthly non-Higher OneŽ ATM fee waivers. This option has a monthly service fee.
2) Deposit your refunds to another account of your choice.
Your money/refunds will be deposited to an account and banking institution of your choice within two to three days of being disbursed.
3) Paper check
Your money/refunds will be mailed to you within five to seven business days of being disbursed.
If I choose a Higher OneŽ account can I with draw money from the account?
Yes you can withdraw money from your One Account at any Higher OneŽ ATM without a service charge. A Higher OneŽ ATM will be available in the Student Center at Anoka Technical College. You may use other ATMs to withdraw money; however, you will be charged a standard fee from Higher One and possibly from the ATM.
Are there fees associated with the Anoka Tech iT card?
As with most debit or credit cards there are service fees for some transactions. We encourage you to read the fee statement carefully before selecting an option.
What if I do not make a selection, will I still get the money the college owes me?
Yes. If you do not choose an option to receive our money, any money the college owes you will be mailed to the address on your file at the college, within 20 to 25 business days of being disbursed.
