Fall Semester Commencement Ceremony

Free parking is available in the parking lots surrounding the building.
Graduation Announcement and Map
Graduation ceremony - limited seating
Because of the seating availability in the auditorium and safety/fire codes, we are limiting the number of guests who can sit with the graduates, in the auditorium, during the commencement ceremony.
Each graduate will be allowed to have two guests sit in the auditorium during the ceremony. If graduates have more than two guests, they can still participate in the ceremony. However, guests without a ticket will be asked to sit in a remote seating area, away from the graduates, where they can view the ceremony on television monitors. Guests must have a ticket to sit in the auditorium during the ceremony. After the ceremony, all of the guests can continue celebrating during a reception in the student cafeteria.
Ticket Pick Up
Graduates can pick up their guest tickets in the Library Media Center beginning this Friday, December 2. Graduates can pick up their tickets Monday through Friday, between 9 and 11 a.m. and 1 and 4 p.m. or by appointment.

Ordering your graduation cap and gown

*Cap and gown orders will not be accepted after 4 p.m. on November 15, 2011
On November 15 between 10 and 11 a.m., the cap and gown vendor will be on campus to answer your questions about your cap and gown. Graduates must have a cap and gown to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Begins Friday, Dec. 2
Monday through Friday, 9 - 11 a.m. and 1 - 4 p.m. or by appointment.

Graduation Ceremony
Please arrive at the college no later than 6:15 p.m.
Look for signs directing graduates to the line-up area
Guests of graduates may proceed directly to the auditorium.

Balloons
In respect to those people who have allergies to latex, we ask that you not bring balloons to the ceremony.
Reception
There will be a reception in the student cafeteria immediately following the ceremony.
Awards
On the evening of the ceremony you will receive an empty award cover. Your diploma, certificate or A.A.S Degree will be mailed to you after the college verifies you have completed all of the graduation requirements.
STEPS TO GRADUATION
1. Complete a graduation application.
2. Print your DARS report.
3. Meet with your advisor.
4. Pay your graduation fee at the business office.
