With the significant increase in spring semester enrollment and the heavy snow coverage, finding a parking spot in the lot surrounding the college building, may be difficult. Students, faculty and staff are asked to use the overflow parking lot at the corner of Thurston and the college frontage road if they cannot find parking spot in the lot surrounding the building.
Please avoid creating parking spots or parking on snow banks as doing so presents an obstacle for emergency vehicles or snow removal vehicles and could result in damage to your car or a citation.
If you have to walk to the overflow lot at night, please use the "buddy system" or call security and ask for a security escort. The number for campus security is (612) 819-4585.
