Hearing Conservation
OSHA requires employers to train employees annually in both General Industry and Construction who are occupationally exposed to hazardous noise. This course will cover the effects of noise on hearing; the purpose of hearing protectors, the advantages, disadvantages, and attenuation of various types, and instructions on selection, fitting, use and care; and the purpose of audiometric testing, and an explanation of the test procedures.
This course can be customized for your business or organization based on specific operations, noise levels, and equipment.
