Basic Welding
This 40 hour course covers basic welding procedures using Arc Welding and Oxy-fuel equipment, including discussion on the safe use of this equipment. Much time will be spent in the shop completing welds in various positions with different processes and electrodes. The processes to be covered in this class will be stick electrode (SMAW) Oxy-Acetylene welding, cutting and brazing along with introduction to GMAW and GTAW on steel, stainless steel and aluminum. The student may choose to try all or some of the processes offered.
