  • Find out your own personal leadership style using the Leadership Challenge
  • Take Leadership Practices Inventory
  • Come away with a personalized action plan

Session 2. Community Capital: Where Have We Been and Where are we Going?

  • Learn from the experts how communities are changing in the North Metro
  • Discuss with community leaders the future plans to create a vibrant region
  • Create your own plan for the development of your region

Session 3. Workforce Capital: Diversity and Other Issues of Leading People

  • Discover the challenges and benefits of leading and working with others
  • Address the ways to manage generational differences in the workplace
  • Learn to manage diverse teams and improve communication

Session 4. Political Capital: Get it to Work for You

  • Learn to develop effective leadership skills during these times of shrinking budgets and conflicting priorities
  • Challenge yourself to truly understand how government works and ways it impacts you in your business and community
  • Interact with government officials to learn how to influence policies and gain positive outcomes

Session 5. Business Capital: Leadership in the Real World of Work

  • Visit local businesses and become acquainted with the variety of leadership models within our communities

  • Discover current and future trends in business
