Sterile Processing
This course prepares students to enter the field of sterile processing and the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) certification exam. Course focuses on cleaning, decontamination and disinfection, sterilization and distribution of sterile supplies, instruments and equipment used in various health care settings. Course includes lecture and lab components.
