Nursing Assistant/ Home Health Aide
This course provides knowledge of basic nursing and personal care skills for hospitals, home health agencies, and long term care facilities. Classes will cover activities of daily living (ADLs), mental health and social needs. The course has lecture, skills lab, and clinical components. Upon successful completion, students will be able to take the NA/HHA Competency Evaluation to become a Certified NA/HHA.
IMPORTANT: Students must pass a Nursing Assistant Pre-Test to register. A background check and Mantoux test are required for clinicals.
