Albin Peterson Student Loan Program

The Albin Peterson Loan Program provides loans to Anoka Technical College students registered for six or more credits. 

  • 6-8 credits may receive up to $500 per semester 
  • 9-11 credits may receive up to $750 per semester 
  • 12 or more credits may receive up to $1,000 per semester

How to Apply

  • Obtain a loan application at the Financial Aid or Foundation Office. Complete the application and return it to the Foundation Office
  • Your credit information will be obtained. Your application and credit information will be reviewed. Upon approval, funds will be applied directly to the college for your tuition and fees.
  • Interest rates will be set annually by the Foundation Board.  For the current interest rate contact the Foundation Office at (763) 576-4755.  Loan interest will begin accruing from the day of graduation or the first date of non-attendance.

Repayment of you loan will begin four (4) months after you graduate or
non-attendance at Anoka Technical College.
