The Anoka Technical College Foundation was established in 1987. Until 1993, the foundation's primary goal was to raise funds to provide scholarships for students at Anoka Technical College. In 2007, the foundations celebrated is 20th anniversary while the college celebrated its 40th anniversary.
Scholarship program
Each semester, scholarships ranging from $500 to $1000 are awarded to students. Scholarship criteria includes scholastic achievement, financial need and special circumstances, educational and career goals and instructor recommendations. Scholarships are available for full-and part-time students.
Crisis Grants
Crisis Grants are available to help reduce the number of students dropping out of college due to financial emergencies. Grants are typically awarded to students whose ability to continue attending school will be affected by the crisis.
Albin Peterson Student Loan Program
The Albin Peterson Student Loan Program provides loans to students at Anoka Technical College that helps to bridge the gap between the costs of college and financial aid.
Support to College Programs
The college foundation provides funds to the college to purchase program equipment that will enhance the learning and training of students.
