ADSC - Administrative Office Procedures - 00004328

Description: Administrative Office Procedures covers topics that develop skill in performing typical office tasks: telephoning, mailing, calendaring, filing, arranging meetings and travel, managing time and preparing documents. A unit on machine transcription will help students develop skill in producing accurate, properly formatted business documents from pre-recorded material utilizing transcribing equipment. A discussion of office ethics issues will be introduced throughout this course. NOTE: This course requires documentation of an accurate keyboarding skill of 50 wpm on a 5-minute timing to successfully pass the course. . (Prerequisites: ADSC 1010, Keyboarding I, and COMP 1000, Introduction to Computers)
